Working for a large(ish) company, it’s difficult to know whether users are enjoying and showing interest int the products you work on (usually it’s the opposite, where your attention is needed when things go wrong). So it’s always a delight to see when they do. Makes it worth while.

oh this is so true. I spend the day resolving these problems, and rarely get to see people just using the application without problems around it. I worked a couple years in a way smaller company (think like 30 people) and joined some calls with product managers there, it was so different!

@pcora Yeah, it’s easy to get a warped sense of what works and what doesn’t if you’re not in touch with the customers (or you’re not using the product yourself).
