I’ve recently been aware of the use of “plonk” in Usenet culture to mean adding something to a kill/block list (h/t Reconcilable Differences). I may need to issue a “plonk” to BMW after they put an ad on the dashboard of their cars. They can’t be trusted with LCD screens.
