This [allowing third-party apps fully integrate with Siri] is seemingly a way for Apple to maintain some level of the status quo – that is, apps. This system is clearly built to leverage the apps you already have installed, which plays nicely with Apple’s overall AI message and strategy.

So I guess this is Apple saying that the future of TV apps is apps. 😛
