Johnsonville, the Skyline Walkway, and the Inevitable

Well, isn’t this grand. First walk in and I’m already injured. I rolled my ankle about an hour into the walk, and in a really stupid manner. I was consulting my map, not looking at where I was stepping, and slipped on a rock. I managed to finish the walk, but it’s quite swollen and my mobility is reduced. So apart from a hobble to the chemist, plus a few other things around the hotel, today is pretty much a write-off. I just hope it improves in time for my check-out.

I did get some photos of the Skyway’s Walkway, walking it from the trailhead at Johnsonville to Crofton Downs. Naturally, it was hilly, but actually getting to the track was the hardest part. While on the ridge, apart from some steep descends, it wasn’t so bad. Breathtaking views.
